Learn how to make simple books or zines from a variety of easy but effective structures.
We will explore:
- Eight fold, a.k.a. “book out of a single sheet,” very popular for zines!
- Accordion fold
- Flower fold, a.k.a. “slinky book”
- Butterfly pamphlet stitch
- Ideas for simple covers using paper and cloth
You will come away with models and ideas for how to manifest your content in a variety of structures. We’ll also cover techniques for making multiples so you have more to share with your friends!
Rubber stamps and ink, plain and decorated papers, book cloth and board, and all other materials are included.
