In this workshop, we will create marbled papers using acrylic paints. Paint is floated on thickened water or “size,” manipulated with tools to create the signature swirly patterns, and then treated papers are “printed” by gently placing them on the surface of the water to pick up the paint.
This ancient paper decoration technique is a bit more fussy than paste papers, but very satisfying nonetheless! All materials provided.
