In this workshop we will explore several structures based on the accordion fold. The familiar zigzag shape can be used in so many ways!
We will create a small accordion book with covers, learn how to make an “endless accordion” by adding pages, explore augmented concertina structures, and create a tunnel book, which is like a mini-theatre.
All materials provided, which includes paper, decorated paper, book cloth, boards, and adhesive. We can play with different decoration techniques including rubber stamps, pencils, markers, and collage.
Basic knowledge of paper folding and cutting recommended.
